TVXQ ranks 3rd in Japan

TVXQ, one of South Korea’s top K-pop groups, took third place in Japan’s 2009 Oricon Rankings by selling about 6.9 billion yen (91.5 billion won) worth of albums and DVDs this year.

The five members of K-pop boy band TVXQ will put on a performance together for a Nippon Television music show on Thursday in Japan, the first time in about three months that all members will perform together. Three of the five members are currently in a dispute with their agency SM Entertainment.
